Our Story & Mission
At The Abide and Arise Project, we believe God is raising up a generation that refuses to compromise, drift, or remain spiritually asleep. We believe that in the world's conditions, we must build a remnant in this generation and the next and the next until the Second Coming of Christ. We exist to equip believers in what it means to follow Christ's 3rd commandment to Abide in Him and to join the army of Christ so desperately needed in our place in time.
To help create and strengthen a remnant for this generation.
In a world filled with confusion, distraction, fear, and spiritual darkness, we believe God is still calling people to holiness, courage, discipleship, and unwavering faith. We are passionate about helping individuals discover who they are in Christ, deepen their relationship with God, and become active participants in His Kingdom purposes.
We believe that we are in a crisis mode in the world because not many people are driving towards the 3rd commandment of Christ.
Come to me
Many do this
Follow me
Some do this
Abide in me
Very, very few even know this — and even fewer move to true discipleship.
Apply in your life
Be a disciple in your world, one God can call upon for big jobs.
Through Social Media, Events, Bible studies, discipleship resources, journals, apparel, and faith-centered lifestyle products, we aim to create a movement to inspire believers to:
We are a call to awakening.
Every design, study, and resource created through The Abide and Arise Project is rooted in the belief that ordinary believers can become powerful vessels for God when they fully surrender their lives to Him.
We believe the remnant is not about perfection — it is about obedience. It is about believers who:
Our prayer is that this ministry encourages people to move from passive Christianity into active discipleship — becoming courageous men and women who know God, love His Word, and live with eternal purpose.
Our Foundation Scripture
"This is my Father's glory, that you bear much fruit,
showing yourselves to be my disciples."
— John 15:8 ESV
To see this generation and all generations to come anchored in Christ to not only withstand all that will come in our world but to have the resolve to testify for Christ no matter the consequences.
A Letter from Our Founder
The call on my life came when I was 19 years old. I am now 62. For over four decades, that call never left me — it simply waited for God's perfect timing.
I have always been a servant for the Lord, but beginning in 2021, He took me on a journey that would change my spiritual life forever. Over the next five years, the Lord walked me through a process I never saw coming — one that would ultimately bring me to the place He had been preparing me for all along.
My path included a Bachelor's Degree from Baylor University, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Dallas, and three years at Dallas Theological Seminary before 9/11 redirected my steps. I felt called to fast-track my purpose in a different way. I am currently finishing my Doctorate in Biblical Studies.
For years I worked in corporate America, and in 2012 I stepped away to purchase a real estate company. That company changed the town it served. It changed the lives of its agents and staff. It was faith-based, and through it, many people in the community — and many clients — were able to achieve their dreams. But deep down, the call placed on my heart at 19 was always there, quietly waiting.
I had several nonprofits over the years. I was always reaching toward something greater. Then in 2023, God said: Come now. No more waiting.
I sold my real estate company, and the plans for what would become The Abide and Arise Project began.
The Lord's call on my life became clear: to work alongside Christ to build a biblical remnant for generations to come. Our world is changing rapidly, and there is no greater role in life than to testify for Jesus and be used by God to raise up a remnant that will remain — no matter what happens in the world.
Until the Lord comes again, we must help believers make the decision to grow to the utmost level of discipleship possible on this earth. Not for our own glory — but so that we can help bring others to that same discipleship. That is the heartbeat of this ministry.
I am so grateful you are here. This is not just a ministry. It is a movement. And I believe God has called you to be part of it.
In His service,
Tammye Rushing
